Personal Reflection

Architectural Engineering has provided me the experience to pursue my two biggest passion, architectural design and engineering and mathematics. Penn State University has allowed me the ability to take studio classes while gaining a strong engineering foundation as well. Within these five years, I was able to obtain a bachelor and a master in architectural engineering. My graduate level classes allowed us to think outside the box and apply our knowledge to real world issues. I was also able to study abroad in Rome, Italy, and understand the architecture there and let it inspire me in my choices back in the USA.  This program demands five years, as each year is filled with classes necessary to succeed in the world.

I would finally like to thank everyone who has helped me over the past five years obtain a Bachelor and Master in AE and a minor in architectural studies, especially my advisor Dr. Riley. Thank you to everyone on the Re Farm Cafe and Duke and Monica.. Ultimately, I would like to thank my Mom and Dad, Lauren Paese and the flutes for their unwavering support and help.
