Report Summary​

The RE Farm Cafe is a farm-to-table restaurant being constructed in State College, PA, on the site of an active farm The building will utilize components of an existing 1,400 SF farmhouse after selective demolition along wit a 2,200 SF cafe addition. The RE Farm Cafe is pursuing the Living Building Challenge, the world's most rigorous building performance standard. Focusing on sustainability, the Living Building Challenge affects every single aspect of the project. The goal of this building is to offer a unique dining experience while also serving as a community resource. Re Farm Cafe is a facility that promotes sustainability from both an agricultural and architectural standpoint. Additionally, the building will serve as a space for education on food, healthy living, responsible sourcing and environmental conscientiousness.
